Parking enforcement rules & regulations
NYPD Traffic Enforcement has many duties, including directing traffic, enforcing parking rules and regulations. The men and women of NYC Traffic Divisions are referred to as Traffic Enforcement Agents (TEAs) and wear uniforms similar to the uniforms worn by School Safety Agents.
